September 6 Labor Day – Church Office Closed

September 8 Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) Nights Resume on Wednesday, September 8th. Join us for a barbeque at 5:45 p.m. followed by Confirmation, choir practices and other activities to kick off our 100th anniversary celebration!!!

September 13/16 Sunday School Begins Rotation Sunday School begins the school year on Sunday, September 12th. If you have not yet registered your child, please contact the church office at 332-3383.

September 12 Bible Study Begins The Bible study class will resume on Monday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m. You will enjoy the music and explore the scripture texts of Handel’s Messiah. Come join the fun as we take a musical look at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

September 28 Serve a Meal at the Ronald McDonald House on Tuesday, September 28th. If you are able to help serve or supply some food, please contact Stephanie Bartram at 332-3637.

September 28 The Bash is Back!! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 28th. Resurrection and Good Shepherd Lutheran Churches are pleased to co-sponsor Peder Eide and his band performing at the “End of Summer Bash.” This free concert will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 7:00 p.m. A hamburger and hot dog feed will be served by the Optimist Club at 5:30 p.m. Freewill donations will go to the Gretna Neighbors Food Pantry. Watch for more details!!!
