The quilting area consists of two separate groups. They are the Sarpy Stitchers and Quilting for Lutheran World Relief. If you are interested in getting involved in either of these groups, please call the church office at 332-3383.

Sarpy Stitchers

Do you enjoy quilting and sharing your projects with others? If you do, then join the Sarpy Stitchers. They meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at 1:00 p.m. Everyone in the community is invited! Of the 16 members of this group, 5 are members of Resurrection and 11 are from the community. As a way of saying "thank you" for the meeting space in the church, the members make and donate baby quilts, which are given to babies baptized at Resurrection.

Quilting for Lutheran World Relief

If you are interested in Quilting for Lutheran World Relief, stop by the Quilting Room on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. There are lots of quilts to tie this year. In addition to our usual quilting days, we are getting together a couple of times a month to tie. If you are interested in fellowship and helping out in this area, please give us a call at 332-3383 or stop by on the days listed above.
