Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church has a total of 6 trained Stephen Ministers and 2 trained Stephen Leaders. This ministry pairs a care receiver with a Stephen Minister who has received extensive training and preparation for caring ministry. Stephen Ministers have studied and practiced skills in areas such as dealing with feelings, crisis intervention, asserting oneself with gentleness and firmness, and numerous other topics to prepare them to help people who are experiencing problems in their lives.
